It has been a while since I last published - so to update readers just to say here in the U.K things do not get any easier but A4 Ezy House Rubbish Clearance continues to give the same quality of service as it ever did
People continue to live in the past in regard prices and value of recyclables such as metal or furniture. In regard to metals it is usually obvious in cities like Southampton to see less white vans and odd looking trucks roaming the streets when metal prices are so low in price. I can say as a legitimate trader that in my recent visit to the EMR company that prices have dropped significantly between 25% - 33% since I last visited. Difficulties are becoming more obvious as companies big and small try to survive and make that smaller profit margin
Other companies such as Huntleys & Sons of Southampton also show a slow down in there activities as the yard is definitely quieter with the current recession - no queuing or difficulty in getting help when visiting - good staff make it an easy turn over
In regards to furniture this has hit an all time low another trader who I have dealt with for many years has decided enough is enough and has closed his shop. I once could take quality stock to at least 8 different outlets now there is non. The rates and rents are to high to keep trading so we are left with online pursuits ummm.
Online trading works if you have storage space but alas I do not and so another area of business becomes tough to handle
Any bright news - well NO only that I am grateful to my continued contracts long may they survive for keeping me afloat. NO help for small business in SOUTHAMPTON only rises in how to get more money out of a sinking ship before it goes down
HOPE - as a parting gift though if you run a small business or you are a home owner who wants to save money then I can show you ONE WAY to make a DIFFERENCE to your bills and live life a little easier - contact me (Joe) if you live in the Southampton area I will show you a presentation which for many people can save them between £200 - £500 per year for domestic and more for business owners. Coffee anyone
