Sorry people whichever way you look at this subject it is not easy. We will all leave somebody else to do the clearance of our possessions.
Very few people think oh it would be a nice idea to have in place a company that can clear all what is not needed when I die. Yes the word death hurts because we know we all have to face it.
The question is do you let somebody else clear up the mess or do you sort something out for yourself, after all you you are intelligent enough to do many things and have worked in various ways to make up a life history so why can you not arrange by retainer to put the company you would like to clear your rubbish when you are gone.
Why am I writing this? Well sometime back a lady in the street stopped me when I was clearing a house in her neighbourhood, she was polite and asked could a spare a few moments - of course how can I help. She went on to say that she was 87 and thought that it would be sensible to leave in her will a company that would clear her remaining effects as she only had one relative - her son who lived in New Zealand.
The lady took my card and who knows in 3,4,5 years time I may get that call but the point is thinking about the obvious can often help those who are left if that is what you decide to do.
Long life to you all, but give it a thought.
