Cost today is as important as it has ever been but whether you are a domestic, trade or commercial client you want to know you are getting a fair deal!
The fair deal is all about how things are disposed of legally or illegally. Most reputable traders will find ways of recycling to make the ends meet in the finances but this is a tough call as you never know what you will find when you get to a job. Be it a quote or an estimate over the phone it all comes down to how can the rubbish be broken up to make it cost efficient for the client and yes profitable for the business.
If you are a flytipper of course many of these questions will be of little relevance.
Recently a number of jobs came up for a regular client, three to be precise - each job was cleared and priced according to weight of load, time consumed to clear and percentage for the business. Options for the client were limited because skips could not be used for two jobs of the three. Grab bags not pratical because of type of clearance. Even if these options were open they still would still have been more expensive. The client has not added his sums up but for some reason thinks he has received a raw deal.
When I quote for people I can usually see whether it will be cheaper to do it another way but reality on cost will always be a mute point. Giving the best price and service 9/10 will bring the client back again and again.
The cheapest option for your pocket is always to do it yourself but never rule out companies like A4 Ezy who can give you a good deal and save you the hassle
