It takes a rubbish strike to realise how important our dustman are to the structure of keeping our streets clean and tidy. As an independent A4Ezy does not clear domestic food waste because it has no direct access to landfill sites but it is also an area I am glad to let the large companies facilitate. Rubbish disposal is an important task as it is increasingly being used in many different ways and hopefully in the near future this usage via recycling will become greater and more cost effective to diversify.
As a local community it is possible to find different ways of disposing of food waste: for example to pig farms or if possible to other food chain alternative in the animal world. Is it possible people can reinvent ways of getting rid of basic food waste to help the local environment.
Dustman are as important as Nurses, Doctors, library workers, toll bridge workers or even I dare say traffic wardens although as with many I am a little bit wary on this point.
